RANTS FROM MOMMYLAND: The Grand Hooker Experiment That’s Not Porny At All.

I love, love, LOVE this blog.  They make weird and inappropriate jokes about motherhood that make me laugh.  Sometimes I laugh so hard I cry.  Or pee.

Last week, they had a post from a working-poor mama.  The majority of the response was beautiful and supportive, with a sprinkling of the “just stop having kids”, “work harder” and similar.  Many “hookers”, as the readership is so eloquently called, wanted to know what they could do to help.  Because they have compassion.  Because they have been there.  Because they’re hookers and hookers are awesome!

And so, the ladies of RFML came up with this experiment to match up hookers in need with hookers who wanted to help.  What a fabulous idea!  Please consider donating to a mama in need this holiday season and getting the honor of calling yourself a Helping Hooker.
